At last the affordable Baystar Outboard Hydraulic Steering Kit has a compact cylinder requiring only 21" of splashwell width, and now fits most outboard powered pontoon boats, deckboats, fishing boats and runabouts where horspower does not exceed 150. Why fight the torque on outboard powered boats when Baystar makes steering easy and boating more enjoyable. One kit fits most applications, and includes 20' of tubing that can be cut to length. Everything you need for the installation. Contains: HH4016, Helm pump, 1 ea. HC4645H, Compact style steering cylinder, 1 ea. *adapter kits for certain engines may be required, HT4420H, Steering lines, 2 ea. *each hose is 20' long and the helm connection can be cut for your specific installation, HA5430, oil, 2 ea.
Standard Features- One function, one or two levers
- One handle for gear, one handle for throttle
- Twist action throttle brake incorporated as standard
- Each control is supplied for a specific purpose, be it throttle control or gear selection
- The throttle brake is simply applied by twisting the lever when the desired setting has been established
- Detents for forward/neutral/reverse incorporated in control
- Chrome plated handles and body
- Can be used for dual station installations, where both stations move together, although care must be taken to avoid operating one station if the brake has been applied to the other
- Suits all outboards, inboards and sterndrives
- Suits hydraulic gearboxes (not mechanical)
- Especially suitable for engines with a heavy governor load (Gardner Diesels)
- Uses 2 x 33C or SP33C cables, fittings for these cables are supplied as standard with the control
- Can also be used with 43C or XL43C cables.
